Oops?
Has anyone else noticed how the Qwest commercials in the past month all referred to the network they built for the Republican national convention? I just saw the same ad again today, but the voice-over has changed; it’s now the Democratic national convention Qwest supported. I’m don’t doubt they built the infrastructure for each convention, they’re the main telco out here. I’m wondering if they’ve always been running both versions of this ad spot and I’ve simply never seen the Democratic version; Nate Silver could go into wonderful mathematical details showing the statistical probability of one viewer only seeing a particular version of an ad, but I’m just going to say I doubt it. Way to jump on the bandwagon, Qwest!
