Jade was a complete auction management suite for eBay, released in early 2003. It included support for writing and listing auctions, batch listing, tracking current auctions, maintaining records of closed auctions, and calculating selling statistics. Both Microsoft Windows and GNU/Linux systems were supported. The application worked by parsing the eBay website and simplifiying the resulting data into a single, consistent inferface.
Jade was discontinued after seven months due to significant changes with the eBay website and the high price eBay charged developers for making use of their API. The source code is now freely available under the GNU General Public License.
